Apple Releases Aperture 3
Apple has released a newer version of its image editing software Aperture, which has now reached version 3. Apple is claiming over 200 new features in this new version, which was last updated in February 2008. Along with adding new features, however, the other goal has been in making it simpler and easier to use, such as their iPhoto software.
Amongst the new features is Faces which lets you organize photo using face detection and recognition tools. It also has Places, which uses geo-tagging information from the photos and lets you know where they have been taken. Brushes lets you retouch images and apply adjustments directly onto them. New adjustment presets gives your photos a wide range of looks with minimum effort. Aperture 3 also has other new features such as full-screen browser and advanced slideshows.
